Pamela Klyn serves as Vice President of the HSCR Board of Directors, where she helps guide the organization's strategic direction and strengthens the public-private partnerships that make long-term community investment possible.

Klyn is President of the Whirlpool Foundation and recently retired as Executive Vice President of Corporate Relations and Sustainability at Whirlpool Corporation after a 31-year career. She held leadership roles spanning engineering, product development, global innovation and marketing — including Vice President of Products & Brands for Whirlpool EMEA in Italy and Senior Vice President in Whirlpool's Global Product Organization. She joined Whirlpool in 1993 through its Technical Excellence Program, bringing a mechanical engineering foundation from Michigan Technological University, a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, and an Executive MBA from Bowling Green State University.

Beyond HSCR, Klyn serves as Chairperson of the Cornerstone Alliance Board of Directors, co-leads the Whirlpool Community Charity Golf Event, and serves on the External Advisory Board for the Dean of Engineering at Michigan Technological University. Her breadth of experience across corporate leadership, sustainability and community development reflects the kind of collective impact HSCR is built on.
